motorola India has scheduled an event on April 3rd in New Delhi. The invite just says ‘Save the date’ and adds “Witness the fusion of art and intelligence” along with the date. The company says that more details will be revealed in a formal invite.

Based on earlier rumours, the company could introduce the motorola edge 50 Pro, its next flagship smartphone, at the event alongside the global launch.
Renders of the phone that surfaced earlier this month shows the phone in black, purple, and silver colors. It is said to pack a 6.7-inch FHD+ 165HZ OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 12GB of RAM, 50MP main camera, ultra-wide camera and a 6x telephoto camera, IP68 ratings and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

According to @evleaks aka Evan Blass, there is also an edge 50 Fusion model with a codename ‘Cusco’.
The phone is said to pack a 6.7-inch POLED screen, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 50MP rear camera, 32MP front camera, IP68 ratings, 256GB storage, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. This is said to come in Peacock Pink, Ballad Blue (vegan leather), and Tidal Teal colours.
We saw the edge 30 fusion back in 2022 with Snapdragon 888+ SoC, but the edge 50 fusion seems to be a mid-range phone and not a successor to it.
