Redmi A3 with 6.71″ 90Hz display, glass back surfaces


Redmi A3, Xiaomi’s upcoming budget smartphone, has surfaced online, and the live images of the phone have also surfaced. The successor to last year’s Redmi A2 series will have a new circular camera deco, which looks similar to realme phones.

The listing reveals a large 6.71-inch 90Hz screen compared to 6.52-inch 60Hz screen in the A2, and the phone is also said to get a glass back, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and switch from micro USB to USB Type-C port.

It is said to retain Helio G36 SoC, 4GB of RAM, but will have 4GB of RAM expansion, and pack a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging with a charger in the box.

The Redmi A3 said to come in Midnight Black, Forest Green and Blue colours, and is already available in Morocco for 1,179 Moroccan Dirham (USD 117 / Rs. 9,745 approx.) even though it is priced at 1399 Moroccan Dirham, according to the offline store listing. We can expect the official launch soon.
