vivo V30 and V30 Pro launching in India on March 7


Update: vivo has confirmed the launch of the V30 series phones in India on March 7th.

After confirming the launch in Thailand on February 28th, vivo has started teasing the launch of V30 and V30 Pro smartphones in India, which is expected in early March.

The teaser highlights ZEISS optics and Aura light for the V30 Pro smartphone. It already confirmed 50MP VCS for the main camera and also shared images from the phone, promising accurate colors.

The Aura Portrait light provides better, brighter light, become larger, the light is softer and uses advanced algorithms that will take the portrait
to the next level, says the company.

The vivo V30 which went official earlier this month packs a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz 60° curved AMOLED display with up to 2800 nits peak brightness, has a 50MP autofocus front camera with dual soft LED flash.

The phone has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, 50MP rear camera with OIS along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and has IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The V30 Pro is expected to feature a similar screne, but come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 50MP main camera with OIS, LED flash, 50MP ultra-wide sensor, 50MP telephoto portrait camera, 50MP autofocus front camera, and an In-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will come in Andaman Blue and Classic Black colours.

The phone will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to vivo.com and offline stores.
