Infinix Note 40 Pro+ and Pro 5G with 6.78″ FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display, up to 100W fast charging, Note 40 Pro and Note 40 announced


Inifinix has introduced its Note 40 series phones that include its Note 40 Pro+ and Pro 5G smartphones, Note 40 Pro and Note 40 4G smartphones globally.

The Note 40 Pro and Pro+ feature All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology, powered by Infinix’s first self-developed Cheetah X1 chip. The Pro+ has 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge that can charge up to 50% in just 8 minutes in hyper mode. The Pro 5G has 45W fast charge that can charge up to 50% in 26 minutes.

All the phones support 20W Wireless MagCharge. The series boasts high-density (4500 in Pro+, 5000mAh in others) batteries, enduring 1,600 full cycles while retaining 80% energy, said the company.

Reverse charging allows sharing power with other devices wired or wirelessly at speeds up to 10W. PD3.0 protocol support enables charging laptops with the phone’s charger.

Additionally, the series features 55° 3D curved 120Hz AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, unibody MDA (metal device antenna) design, 108MP camera with OIS, 3x Lossless Superzoom camera. Infinix said that it has also incorporated AI enhancements like Active Halo AI lighting and partnered with Sound by JBL.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro 4G model has almost similar specifications, but it is powered by Helio G99 Ulimate SoC enhanced by AI features on XOS 14, including Folax, Ask AI, and AI wallpaper generator, enhancing creativity and productivity

This also has 70W All-Round FastCharge 2.0 for 50% charge in 20 minutes + 20W Wireless MagCharge. This also has IP54 ratings compared to IP53 in the 5G models. All the Infinix Note 40 Pro series phones run Android 14-based XOS 14 and will get 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

Pricing and availability

The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G is priced at USD 309 (Rs. 25,620 approx.), Note 40 Pro 5G costs USD 289 (Rs. 23,960 approx.), Note 40 Pro 4G model is priced at USD 259 (Rs. 21,475 approx.) and the Note 40 4G phone is priced at USD 199 (Rs. 16,500 approx.).

The phone will start rolling out globally starting Tuesday, March 19th, in Vintage Green, Obsidian Black, and Titan Gold colorways. The Note 40 series is also being teased in India, so we can expect the India launch soon.

Infinix and DesignWorks, a BMW group company, have partnered for a special Infinix Note 40 series Racing Edition which will be available by midyear.
