Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch FE surface

Samsung is working on a new smartwatch called the ‘Galaxy Watch Ultra,’ according to Android Headlines, where they’ve shared about Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra earlier.

As per the report, instead of the Watch 7 Pro, Samsung might reveal three new watches: the Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic, and Watch Ultra.

Galaxy Watch Ultra

Reports suggest the Watch Ultra will feature a larger battery of 578mAh, with the model number EB-BL705ABY.

While initially expected to include the Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic, and Watch Ultra, Samsung might skip the Classic model, as it did with the Watch5 series.

The Watch Ultra will have three different model numbers: SM-L705U, SM-L705N, and SM-L705F, representing the U.S., Korea, and Global markets, respectively.

Galaxy Watch FE

In addition to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung is also developing a “FE” version – The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, akin to Apple’s approach with the Apple Watch SE, will be a budget-friendly alternative to the Watch Ultra.

It will be available with specific models (SM-R866F, SM-R866U, and SM-R866N) for the U.S., Korea, and other markets. The Watch FE is expected to share features with the Galaxy Watch4 (2021), report noted.

The Watch Ultra could feature advanced sensors for more accurate workout tracking, including improved swimming data accuracy due to enhanced water pressure durability and better GPS tracking.

Battery life is anticipated to be notably improved, with reports suggesting the use of a larger battery than previous models.

Though exact technical specifications for both watches are currently unavailable, significant differences between the Watch Ultra and Watch FE are expected.

Launch date?

The Watch Ultra might be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, Galaxy Ring, at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked Event rumored for July 10 in Paris.
