Spotify lets you build AI Playlists based on written prompts

Spotify is rolling out a new AI-based feature called ‘AI Playlist’ in beta. This premium feature curates playlists based on users’ prompts. It is an addition to Spotify’s other features like AI DJ and daylist, which make song discoveries simpler and more personalized.

The feature will be available under the ‘Your Library’ tab, through which you can click the ‘+’ icon in the top right corner to access the feature. After that, just like any other chatbot, you must input your prompt. This may include artists, moods, decades, places, animals, activities, movie characters, colors, emojis, etc.

The feature also lets you easily manage the selection of songs by previewing and deleting tracks and refining the prompt further. After this process, you just need to tap the “Create” option and your new playlist will be saved automatically in your library.

In this way, you can create your personalized playlists, all based on your liking and preferences. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert playlist creator, AI Playlist pairs our powerful personalization technology with AI to deliver that perfect musical mix, just for you, said the company.

This feature is in the beta stage and is rolling out to all Android and iOS Spotify Premium subscribers in the U.K. and Australia.
