motorola edge 50 Pro renders surface in 3 colors

Motorola is set to launch its next flagship smartphone, the motorola edge 50 Pro, which may adopt the name Edge+ (2024) upon its release in the US. Now, new renders of the upcoming flagship, showcasing it from various angles, have been shared by Android Headlines.

The design of the edge 50 Pro appears to be a refined version of its predecessor, with slight updates such as the back curving around the edges of the camera module. It will be available in black, purple, and silver colors, with the silver variant featuring faux leather texture on the back.

The phone will sport a triple camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor (f/1.4 aperture), an ultrawide-angle camera, and a telephoto camera with 6x zoom. Reports suggest that the camera system will incorporate laser autofocus and optical image stabilization.

Other expected specifications include a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 12GB of RAM. The device will be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery, supporting 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Initially, the motorola edge 50 Pro may launch in China under the name motorola X50 Ultra, with hints of AI-powered features. Although an official launch date is yet to be confirmed, leaks suggest a possible introduction in the first week of April.

Further details may emerge as the launch date approaches, leading up to Motorola’s official announcement.
