Infinix HOT 40i with 6.6″ 90Hz display, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 32MP front camera launched in India


Infinix has launched HOT 40i, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Hot series, as the successor to last year’s HOT 30i. The phone has a 6.6-inch HD+ display, same as the predecessor, but this comes with a punch-hole and has 90Hz refresh rate.

This gets an Octa-Core T606 SoC from Unisoc, compared to Helio G37. It has 8GB of RAM with 8GB of virtual RAM, 256GB storage, 50MP rear camera along with an AI lens and a 32MP front camera. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The HOT 40i comes with Radiant Glow Design, has IP53 ratings for dust and splash resistance and the Magic Ring offers Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Completion Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder. It packs a 5000mAh battery and has 18W fast charging.

The Infinix Hot 40i comes in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green colours, and is priced at Rs. 9999. It will be available from Flipkart starting from February 21st. There is extra Rs. 1000 discount on exchange.
