OnePlus just launched the OnePlus Watch 2, the company’s latest smartwatch globally at the MWC 2024 in Barcelona, as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartwatch is the dual OS and dual chip architecture.

The watch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with up to 1000 nits peak brightness, lets you view and respond to notifications, including messages, make and answer phone calls over Bluetooth. It comes with 32GB of standalone storage, so that you can download songs from YouTube Music and Spotify. It is compatible with most Bluetooth earbuds for wireless music playback on the go.

The OnePlus Watch 2 and the OHealth app now also support Health Connect by Android, which offers a central hub in Android 14 for managing data permissions from multiple health and fitness apps and devices. With user permission, users can securely sync their health data collected via the watch or the OHealth app with Health Connect-compatible apps, said  the company.

The OnePlus Watch 2 has Military-grade durability, has 5ATM + IP68 water and dust resistance and over 100 sports mode. The watch has built-in dual-band GPS to track all your activity accurately, and offers additional data for running, badminton, tennis and skiing.

It also offers heart rate, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, and stress detection, all easily manageable on the OnePlus O Health app. It uses both Wear OS powered by Snapdragon W5 chip and uses proprietary OS based on RTOS. The watch has 500mAh battery and promises up to 100 hours of battery life in Smart mode, and in power saver mode it promises up to 12 days of battery life.
