Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro get new Mint colour

Google introduced the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro smartphones back in October. The Pixel 8 was launched in Obsidian, Hazel and Rose colours, and the Pixel 8 Pro was launched in Obsidian, Bay and Porcelain colours. Now it has launched a new Mint colour officially, after a cryptic ‘Fresh year, fresh drop’ teaser.

The Pixel 7 was launched in a Lemongrass colour, which was lighter in shade compared to the Mint. Other than the colour, it has the same glass body with a glossy finish and similar specifications.

Pricing and availability

The new Mint colour variant is exclusive to Google Store and comes only in 128GB model with the same price. Even though the Mint Pixel 8 is listed on Google India online store, Google sells pixel phones only through Flipkart in India, so we will have to wait for the new colour in India to show up on Flipkart.

January Pixel feature Drop

The January Pixel feature Drop brings the ability to measure body temperature on the Pixel 8 Pro after FDA authorization. Circle to Search feature that was announced by Google at the Galaxy Unpacked is rolling out or ready to be roll out widely from January 31st.

Photomoji and Magic Compose features in the Google Messages app for Pixel users are rolling out widely.
