Motorola commits to Corning Gorilla Glass on all its smartphones starting H2 2024

Motorola has announced a partnership with Corning to use Corning Gorilla Glass protection on its entire smartphone line-up, starting from the second half of 2024. This move reinforces Motorola’s commitment to providing cutting-edge technology and ensuring widespread accessibility across its franchises.

Several Motorola devices already use Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and this announcement further strengthens the brand’s dedication to delivering high-quality products with advanced materials and technologies.

This collaboration builds upon Lenovo’s existing partnership with Corning in the laptop and tablet categories, where select Lenovo devices also feature Gorilla Glass.

Motorola said that it meticulously engineers every aspect of its smartphones, from cameras and displays to processors and software, to deliver a balanced user experience.

The Corning Gorilla Glass technology promises exceptional scratch and drop resistance while maintaining sensitive touch response and immersive user experiences.

Regarding this, Ruben Castano, Motorola’s Head of Customer Experience, said:

Today’s consumers demand reliability and durability without sacrificing sleek, modern design. By incorporating Corning Gorilla Glass across all our franchises, we aim to lead the industry by ensuring every customer has access to the exceptional durability and peace of mind that comes with this cutting-edge technology.
