After rumours, Apple has scheduled its iPad event on May 7th. The event has a tag line of “Let Loose” and shows an artistic render of an Apple Pencil, suggesting that iPads will be the main highlight of the event.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has posted more logos that allude to the illustration and graphic design capabilities of the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.
What to expect?
Based on earlier rumours, we can expect two new iPad Pro models with the M3 chip, OLED displays, thinner body and bezels, matte screen option, landscape front camera and there are also rumours of MagSafe wireless charging. This marks the first major overhaul since 2018.
We can also expect two new iPad Air models with the M2 chip, landscape front camera, and a iPad Air with 12.9-inch display offering a large screen at a lower price point compared to the more premium Pro model. The iPad Air got updated in 2022 with M1 chip.
A redesigned Magic Keyboard accessory for the iPad Pro with an aluminum body, larger trackpad and a new Apple Pencil with rumored squeeze gesture, future support for visionOS are also expected to be introduced at the event.
