Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 with 3K 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to be announced on February 22

Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, the company’s next tablet and the successor to last year’s Pad 6 Pro at an event in China on February 22nd, alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

The company has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC compared to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the Pad 6 Pro, 3:2 3K screen, 120W fast charging compared to 67W in the predecessor, Wi-Fi 7 support, and the tablet will run HyperOS. The image shows a keyboard dock in black and white colours and a stylus.

According to earlier rumours, the tablet said to pack up to 24GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, 50MP dual rear cameras, 4 speakers and a huge 10,000mAh battery from the Pad 5 Pro.

Earlier rumours revealed that this will be the Pad 7, but since it is coming with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, there are rumours of the Xiaomi Pad 7 packing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 coming out later this year.

Since the tablet has also surfaced in Europe, it should be introduced for the global markets at the MWC event on February 25th in Barcelona alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s global launch.
