Samsung just launched the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 smartphones in India, after the phones were introduced earlier this week. The phones have a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, the A55 is powered by the latest Exynos 1480 SoC and the A34 has an Exynos 1380 SoC.
Both the phones feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, video digital image stabilization (VDIS) and 5MP macro sensor. The A55 has a 12MP ultra-wide and the A35 has an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Both the phones run Android 14 with One UI 6.1, and the company guarantees up to four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the phones. There are security features such as Knox Vault, as well as new photography capabilities inspired by Galaxy’s flagship camera innovations such as Vision Booster.
These have IP67 ratings for dust and water resistance, feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on the front, glass back and the A55 also has a metal frame. The phones pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but don’t come with a charger in the box.
