Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Dimensity 700 and Exynos 1330 models surface in benchmarks


Renders of the Galaxy A14 surfaced last month revealing a notch display and triple rear cameras, now the Galaxy A14 5G (SM-A146B & SM-A146P) has surfaced in two different benchmarks that reveal Dimensity 700 and Exynos 1330 SoCs.

Galaxy A14 5G with Exnyos 1330

The Galaxy A14 (SM-A146B) and Galaxy M14 (SM-M146B) reveal scores of 770 and 2151, and 751 and 2051 for Geekbench Single and Multi-Core benchmarks, respectively.

This is for the Exynos 1330 version with 4GB of RAM and Android 13. This reveals 2 x 2.4GHz high performance cores and 6 x 2GHz efficiency cores.

Galaxy A14 5G with Dimensity 700

The Dimensity 700 version of the Galaxy A14 5G (SM-A146P) has 522 single-core, and 1710 multicore score, which is less than the Exynos 1300 model. This also runs Android 13 and packs 4GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G rumoured specs

Based on earlier rumours, the Galaxy A14 is said to pack a 6.8-inch Full HD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) LCD screen with a U-shaped notch for a selfie camera. The renders revealed a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and volume rockers on the right side. The bottom part has a speaker grille, a type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Based on rumours, it will be Samsung’s cheapest 5G phone in 2023. The Samsung Galaxy A13 was introduced in December last year, so we can expect the A14 in December 2022 or in January 2023.
