Acer at its Global Press Conference today introduced a suite of powerful new laptops across its popular Swift and Spin ranges – Acer Swift 3 OLED, Spin 5 and Spin 3, as the successor to last year’s models, all featuring 12th Gen Intel Core processors and Windows 11
To begin, the Acer Swift 3 OLED is the company’s latest thin and modern-looking laptop with Intel Evo certification, ensuring that key experience targets such as instant wake from sleep and offering 10 hours of real-world battery life are met. It has a 14-inch 16:10 WQXGA+ (2.8K) OLED display with a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500-certified 92 percent screen-to-body ratio, the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics and PCIe Gen 4 SSDs, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 and backlit keyboard.
Dual heat pipes and an air inlet keyboard ensure high-performance thermal solutions. And, for added performance, use Fn + F to tune your fan and experience engineered solutions to maximise productivity. Furthermore, Acer’s TNR (Temporal Noise Reduction) technology is used in the FHD front-facing camera to provide high-quality imagery even in low-light conditions. It has the latest Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and USB 4 ports and connectivity.

The Acer Spin 5 is a light and ultra slim convertible notebook with a 14-inch 16:10 WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS LCD touch display with low-blue light TÜV certification and an 88% screen-to-body ratio. The Spin 5’s 360-degree hinge design with custom-designed bearings allows for smooth transitions between various usage modes: laptop, stand, tent or tablet mode, making it ready for any task.
It is an Intel Evo verified laptop, and features up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P or Core i5-1240P processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics to accelerate editing needs. It comes with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. When it comes to ports and connectivity, Spin 5 has Wi-Fi 6E, two Type-C USB ports with Thunderbolt 4 ensure fast data transfer and power delivery.
The Spin 5’s TwinAir cooling system uses Acer’s Vortex Flow architecture to boost performance by up to 75%, and Dual D6 copper heat pipes assist keep the temperature at a comfortable level for the greatest performance. Acer PurifedVoice with AI-enhanced Noise Reduction and DTS Audio are also included in the laptop to ensure high-quality audio on video conversations. The laptop includes a rechargeable Acer Active Stylus with Wacom AES 2.0 technology for better accuracy and control.
