OnePlus 7, 7T series will no longer receive software updates


The OnePlus 7 Series were one of the company’s most successful models. The OnePlus 7 Series, which includes the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and the 7T series which include the OnePlus 7T, and OnePlus 7T Pro, were announced in 2019, and the smartphones have now reached the end of their life cycle.

The H.32 (GM1911 11.H.32) update version for the OnePlus 7 series and F.18 (HD1901 11.F.18) update version for the OnePlus 7T series will be the final stable version for the respective smartphones, the company has confirmed.

This update includes the Android security patch for December 2022 and improves the stability of mobile network connections.

At the time of launch, the company had kept its promise of providing two major Android updates as well as an extra year of security. Furthermore, the company has requested that Indian users report bugs by dialling *#800#, whereas users from other regions can report bugs using this form.

In 2021 OnePlus announced that starting with the 8 series, its phones will get 3 years of OS updates and 4 years security updates, so EOL of 8 series will be 2024.

Last year, OnePlus confirmed that its flagships releasing starting this 2023 will get four Android OS updates and five years of security updates, so the OnePlus 11 should get 5 more years of support.

The update for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series will be rolled out in batches, so please be patient until your device receives it.
