Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just announced Redmi K30 Ultra, the company’s latest smartphone in the K series at its 10th anniversary event in China. It packs a 6.67-inch E3 Super AMOLED screen from Samsung with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by Dimensity 1000+ processor, 5G SA/NSA support, has 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink to reduce the temperature by up to 10℃, runs Android 10 with MIUI 12, comes with 3D glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, NFC and Hi-Res audio support.
It has a 64MP 1/1.7″ main sensor, 13MP 119° ultra-wide camera, 5MP (50mm equivalent) macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 20MP pop-up front camera with 3D sensing system that can quickly sense falling and retreats. There is built-in multicolour notification LED. The K30 Ultra comes with a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging that can charge the phone fully in an hour.

The Redmi K30 Ultra comes in Moonlight White, Midnight Black and Mint Green colours, is priced at 1,999 yuan (US$ 287 / Rs. 21,470 approx.) for 6GB + 128GB, 2,199 yuan (US$ 316 / Rs. 23,620 approx.) for 8GB + 128GB, 2,499 yuan (US$ 359 / Rs. 26,840 approx.) for 8GB + 256GB and the top-end 8GB + 512GB version costs 2,699 yuan (US$ 388 / Rs. 28,990 approx.). It is now available for order and will go on sale in China starting from August 14th.
