Samsung just launched the Galaxy M55 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the M series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, same as the predecessor, but this replaces the Exynos 1380 in the M54 with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
It has up to 8GB of RAM, has a 50MP rear camera with 1.5˚ OIS and VDIS along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro cameras. There is a 50MP front camera for the phone.
The phone runs Android 14 with One UI 6, and the company has promised 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security updates for the phone. It equipped with Samsung Knox Vault, a unique hardware-based security and tamper-proof solution for the first time in the M series.
It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging for the first time in the M series, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 comes in Denim Black and Light Green colours and is priced at Rs. 26,999 for 8GB + 128GB, Rs. 29,999 for 8GB + 256GB and the 12GB+256GB model costs Rs. Rs. 32,999.
It is now available from Amazon.in, and Samsung India online store as well as retail stores. There is a Rs. 2000 instant discount on all leading banks’ Credit/Debit Cards EMI and full payment, so the effective starting price is Rs. 24,999.
