LG Electronics unveiled the 2024 LG Soundbar S95TR after its debut at CES 2024. It boasts advanced three-dimensional sound powered by artificial intelligence (AI), crafted to complement premium LG TVs.
The new LG Soundbar S95TR ensures seamless connectivity with TVs, enabling simultaneous use with TV speakers and wireless connection. Utilizing AI, it delivers immersive three-dimensional sound, taking into account viewing position, spatial layout, and content genre.
The S95TR model features a design with three up-firing speakers and a total of 15 channels, including a subwoofer for deep bass and rear speakers for immersive sound (9.1.5 configuration). It delivers a maximum output of 810 watts (W).
It boasts a ‘WOW Orchestra’ function that enhances audio by combining the soundbar and TV speakers, while ‘WOWCAST’ supports Dolby Atmos for vivid sound even when wirelessly connected to premium LG TVs. Additionally, it supports DTS:X and HDMI eARC for high-quality sound playback.
Controlling the soundbar is effortless, as it can be managed using the TV remote control. The AI Room Calibration function adjusts sound based on room size and shape, ensuring distortion-free audio tailored to the listener’s location.
Connectivity options include Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2, enabling easy access to streaming services like Tidal and Spotify via smartphones.
In addition to the S95TR, LG introduced the S70TR Soundbar, designed to complement LG QNED TVs. It supports wireless connection between rear speakers, minimizing clutter during installation.

Pricing and availability
The 2024 LG Soundbar lineup will be rolled out in major global markets, starting with North America at the end of the month, followed by Korea and Europe. The pricing in Korea is as follows:
- LG Soundbar S95TR is priced at 1,899,000 won (USD 1448 or Rs. 1,19,896 approx.).
- LG Soundbar S70TR is priced at 699,000 won (USD 533 or Rs. 44,135 approx.).
For the first 100 units, customers who pre-register at the domestic online brand shop (LGE.COM) can avail of a 300,000 won discount on the S95TR.
