Samsung details Auracast, 360 Audio and more rolling out to Buds 2, Buds FE, S24 series, Neo QLED, OLED TVs and more

Samsung has introduced new AI-powered features for its Galaxy Buds Series, including the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Buds2, and Buds FE.

These features enhance connectivity within the Samsung ecosystem, making it easier for users to engage with their devices. Here are the new features:

Interpreter: When paired with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Buds facilitate real-time translations by separating sound during conversations.

This allows users to listen to translations through their earbuds while the other person hears through the phone speaker, enhancing communication without the need to pass devices back and forth.

Auracast: Initially introduced for Samsung Smart TVs with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Auracast can now be used on phones and tablets, including the Galaxy S24 series. Auracast turns the device into a shared radio station that can broadcast audio across multiple Galaxy Buds.

360 Audio: Previously available on phones and tablets, 360 Audio will now support TVs, providing users with immersive sound from all directions. Galaxy Buds will also track head movements to create a more immersive listening experience.

Auto Switch: This feature automatically shifts the connection between devices, such as switching from watching content on a Samsung TV with Galaxy Buds to answering a call on a Galaxy phone.

With the latest update, Auto Switch will also work with PCs, including the Galaxy Book4 series.

Availability

Samsung has announced that the latest Galaxy AI feature software update will roll out gradually to Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Buds2, and Buds FE starting in late February via the Galaxy Wearable app.
