realme GT Neo6 SE: 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED screen with up to 6000 nits peak brightness confirmed


After the confirmation regarding the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, realme today confirmed that the GT Neo6 SE will feature a 1.5K BOE 1.5K OLED screen with a peak brightness of 6000 nits, which is more compared to 4500 nits in the OnePlus 12 series, realme GT5 Pro and 5000 nits in the HONOR Magic6 Pro.

The global maximum brightness of this screen reaches 1600 nits, the manual maximum brightness is 1000 nits, and the minimum brightness can be customized, said the company. In addition, realme said that the phone has game super HDR for the first time on this screen to achieve higher dynamic range and light and shadow effects.

The 8T LTPO technology use customized BOE S1 luminescent materials which supports 0.5-120Hz adaptive refresh, Pro-XDR ultra-high dynamic display, 1.5K resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 94.2% Ultra-high screen-to-body ratio, with screen borders as narrow as 1.36mm.

The screen supports 3+1 Pulse low-strobe flicker, 2160Hz PWM dimming, hardware-level low blue light, and ambient color adaptive display. The Green Field Al Eye Protection uses active fatigue detection technology for the first time in the industry that intelligently detects fatigue status, and adjusts eye protection solutions for less strain when watching videos and reading books.

It offers, 2500Hz instant touch sampling rate, making game control more sensitivity. The steering wheel disconnection probability is reduced by 40%, and the stability of quick clicks is improved by 15%. The touch sensitivity is increased by up to 26% with new AI protective touch, and the edge response rate is increased by up to 12%, said the company.

Earlier rumours revealed a 5500mAh battery and 100W fast charging for the phone. We should know more details in the coming week ahead of the launch of the phone in April.
