Motorola ThinkPhone: New images, more specs surface


Back in October, renders of the Lenovo ThinkPhone appeared, and it is said to come out in 2023. The latest development from TechOutlook is that details about the first look, processor, and RAM have been revealed.

As per the leak, the phone has a 6.6-inch POLED display with a 32MP teardrop notch camera and an aluminium frame that weighs about 189g. On the back, ThinkPhone will be written in Aramid Fiber Inlay. Top right the device will have Triple camera set-up featuring 50MP + 13MP + 2MP Depth sensor and Flashlight.

The pictures show that the phone is IP68 dust and water resistant. The device will include quick wireless charging and Motorola’s “Ready For” multi-screen collaboration. It is also possible to observe it with a 68W Type-C TurboPower charger, which is expected to power up a 5000 mAh battery.

The device to come with 8GB + 12 GB of RAM with three storage variants such as 128GB, 256 and 512GB of internal storage. The device is also expected to come pre-installed with Android 13 and be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or later.

In addition to being compatible with the 5G network, NFC, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi, it will also enable Motorola’s own gestures and standalone functions. In terms of the sensors, it carries an in-screen fingerprint sensor in addition to a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, etc. As can be seen from the pictures, the colour could be available in black.

If we are to believe these renders, however, it will be released by Motorola under the brand name ThinkPhone. Previously, there were reports that it would be released in the market as the Moto Edge Fusion 40.
