Motorola next foldable RAZR ‘Maven’ live images surface

Motorola is expected to release a new Razr-series clamshell device this year. According to @evleaks / 91moblies, the forthcoming Razr clamshell is codenamed “Maven.” The report has also disclosed live shots of the device to provide a first glimpse of its presence. The soon-to-be released Motorola Razr (Maven) looks pretty similar to last year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3. The device has a slightly boxy as well as squarish aesthetic, and it lacks a chin, unlike past Razr clamshells. The fingerprint sensor is now located on the side, incorporated into the power button.

The smartphone’s backside features a dual-camera setup. As per the article, it does have a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a 13MP ultrawide camera that could double as a macro sensor. It has a 32MP camera placed in the inner screen’s paunch-hole for selfie snaps. The device is anticipated to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and another version is expected to feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip. As far as memory configurations are concerned, 8 GB/12 GB RAM and 256 GB/512 GB, are expected.

The leak just acknowledges that it has an internal Full HD+ foldable screen. However, it makes no mention of the size of the inner and outer screens. There is also no word on the device’s battery capacity. It is expected to be released first in China, in mid-July or early August, and then in other global markets. The device is expected to be available in Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue, and there is currently no word on the device’s price.
