Redmi Turbo 3 with 6.67″ 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, up to 16GB RAM announced


Xiaomi just announced the Redmi Turbo 3, the company’s latest smartphone in the Turbo series in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.67″ 1.5K OLED display, up to 2400 nits peak brightness, 1920Hz high frequency PWM dimming, and is one of the first phones to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

It has 4800mm² ultra-large circular cold pump cooling system Vapor-liquid separation design, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

In terms of design, it has a right-angled frame and a three-sided equal-width design. The back panel adopts an equal-depth four-curve design and is made of plastic-free straight design. It has IP64 dustproof and waterproof ratings and is just 7.8mm thick.

The phone has dual rear cameras with a 50MP 1/1.95″ Sony’s LYT-600 sensor with f/1.59 aperture, OIS and a 8MP ultra-wide camera. There is a 20MP front camera.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging offering 50% charge in 12 minutes, and 100% charge in 35 minutes.

There is also a Harry Potter limited Edition inspired by the “Seven Horcruxes” and deeply restores the storyline. The magical aesthetic appearance and classic element themes pay tribute to the mysterious magical world, bringing unlimited imagination of technology and magic

The box offers an experience dazzling array of magic shops with carefully hand-painted “Diagon Alley” scenes, badges, custom case and more.

The Redmi Turbo 3 comes in Black Crystal, Green Blade, and Ice Titanium colours and is priced at 1999 yuan (USD 276 / Rs. 22,995 approx.) for 12GB + 256GB, 2299 yuan (USD 317 / Rs. 26,450 approx.) for 12GB + 512GB, 2499 yuan (USD 345 / Rs. 28,750 approx.) for 16GB + 512GB and the top-end 16GB + 1TB model costs 2799 yuan (USD 386 / Rs. 32,200 approx.).

The Redmi Turbo 3 Harry Potter Limited Edition 16GB + 512GB model is priced at 2699 yuan (USD 373 / Rs. 31,050 approx.). The phone is now available to order and will go on sale in China starting from April 15th.
