Nothing Ear and Ear (a) surface ahead of launch

Nothing is hosting a new product launch event on April 18. The company has confirmed the launch of two new earbuds – Nothing Ear and Ear (a). With Nothing Ear being a successor to Nothing Ear (2), it is the result of the company’s new naming strategy, which involves stripping back the numbers.

The Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) will follow the company’s existing transparent design style with in-ear type buds. Both will share features like Active Noise Cancellation, dual connection, IP54 waterproof rating, and quick charging, which should offer up to 10 hours of playback with 10 minutes of charging.

The Nothing Ear will offer up to 7.5 hours of playback with ANC turned off and a combined playback of up to 33 hours. Nothing Ear (a), on the other hand, should offer a slightly higher battery life of up to 38 hours.

When it comes to color options, the Ear will come in black and white color while the Ear (a) will come in black, white, and yellow colors. It is said that the Nothing Ear will be priced around USD 150 (Rs. 12,490 approx.) and Ear (a) should cost around USD 100 (Rs. 8,325 approx.). India pricing should be cheaper.

We should get more information on these earbuds during the launch next week.
