Asphalt Legends Unite with multiplayer mode, enhanced graphics to launch on July 17


Gameloft has announced Asphalt Legends Unite, the latest expansion of its Asphalt 9: Legends racing game. With this new game, the company brings online multiplayer mode, an upgraded graphics engine, a revamped UI, a redesigned garage that carries over your progress, and more.

Asphalt Legends Unite Features

Online Multiplayer: The Asphalt Legends Unite offers an online multiplayer feature with cross-play functionality, meaning you can play with and against others. The company also confirmed it is working on other features like private lobbies and friends lists, just like we see on many other apps like BGMI, CODM, etc.,

Co-op Game Mode: The game also has a brand new game mode called ‘Co-op’ that will have 2 teams with each having 5 Syndicate drivers chased down by 3 Security cars.

New Game Engine & UI: The company is said to have used a custom graphics engine that brings more realism to races, high-fidelity visuals with vastly improved dynamic lighting, and more details to the cars. Accompanying these graphics is a new UI for both the menus and in-game HUD.

Supercharged editions for PS5: There will also be a physical edition of the game for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch that offers a classic selection of cars including the 3-star Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 and the McLaren 765LT, along with 5,000 Tokens, 5,000,000 Credits, and an exclusive PlayStation decal.

Availability

The Asphalt Legends Unite will be launched on the 17th of July and should be available on all major platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. Pre-orders for the physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch will begin soon.
