Reliance Jio launched its 5G services in beta in October and started offering unlimited 5G data for users those who are invited as a part of Welcome Offer. This week, Apple rolled out iOS 16.2 update that enabled 5G support for iPhone 12 series and later, as well as iPhone SE 3.
Now, Jio SIM users with the compatible iPhones with 5G support can join Jio Welcome Offer to enjoy unlimited 5G data at no extra cost.
After you finish installing the iOS 16.2 update, you can go to:
Settings → Mobile Data → Voice & Data → and select 5G AUTO as well as 5G Standalone ON. It is also recommended to got to Settings → Battery → Turn OFF Low Power Mode, if it is enabled, to enjoy 5G services.
Jio 5G is now available in Gujarat, Pune, Delhi-NCR region, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Varanasi. Jio already confirmed that it will deliver 5G to every town of India by December 2023.
