iPhone SE 4 could feature Dynamic Island, single rear camera

A new iPhone SE model might come out in 2025, rumored to borrow its design from the upcoming iPhone 16, as per leaker Majin Bu on X (formerly Twitter).

According to the tweet, the upcoming iPhone SE model is anticipated to feature the Dynamic Island, seen first in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, along with a single rear camera.

It’s suggested that the iPhone SE 4 could resemble the design of the in-progress iPhone 16. The dimensions might resemble those of the iPhone XR.

The iPhone 16, however, is expected to sport the Dynamic Island and two rear cameras. Majin Bu notes uncertainty regarding the information shared, cautioning against taking it too seriously.

Previously, rumors hinted that Apple shelved the iPhone SE 4 due to concerns regarding its in-house 5G chip. However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicated that Apple might revive the project, possibly with a 6.1-inch OLED display and a custom 5G chip, replacing the Snapdragon 5G modems.

Kuo didn’t specify a release date for the new iPhone SE, but historical patterns suggest a potential launch in March 2024 or later, given Apple’s track record of introducing a new SE model every two years. Further leaks might shed light on the progress as time goes on.
