Amazfit T-Rex 2 with 1.39″ AMOLED display, 150+ sports modes, up to 24 days battery life announced

The latest T-Rex 2 smartwatch from Amazfit features a rugged design and a larger battery than the previous model. For the T-Rex 2, its polymer alloy chassis as well as military-standard tests have kept its rugged build intact. It has a water-resistant rating of 10 ATM and can be used in temperatures as low as -22° F, so it’s quite ready for almost any situation with MIL-STD-810G standards.

The battery is another big change in the new Amazfit T-Rex 2. The battery on this new model is 500 mAh, which is more than the 390 mAh battery on the old model. In normal use, the battery should last up to 24 days, although in GPS mode it could last up to 58 hours, but offers up to 45 days on Battery saver mode.

Its 1.39-inch touchscreen panel has a larger screen than its successors, so that the Zepp OS may indeed be leveraged more effectively. It can reach up to 1000 nits of brightness, making it excellent for outdoor enthusiasts. The Amazfit T-Rex has more than 150 different sports categories and can automatically track and record every workout.

Additionally, the watch features a PPG heart rate sensor with blood-oxygen monitoring and other health tracking features such as VO2 Max, sleep, etc. The device features dual-band positioning, including five positioning systems for trekkers as well as other outdoor enthusiasts.

The Zepp App on your device shows and analyses health and exercise data, has a store for watch faces, gives your watch system updates, and makes it easier to manage smart devices. The device does come with a handful of smart features, such as Bluetooth phone camera control, alarm clock, voice memos, to-do lists, find phone and much more.

The device comes in four colorways: Astro Black, Astro Gold, Ember Black, and Wild Green, and offers a 12-month warranty.
