Samsung Galaxy S23 could get a better display, bigger battery

We are still two more months away from the launch of Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones. Now, details about the display and battery have surfaced. According to rumour from a tipster on Twitter, that Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ offer up to 1750 nits brightness. Even though this is the same as the S22+, the S22 offered up to 1300 nits brightness.

Even though earlier rumours revealed that the S23 Ultra will offer up to 2000 nits brightness to compete with Apple iPhone 14 Pro, the S23 Ultra will retain 1,750 nits of peak brightness.

Another thing the S23 Ultra will retain from the S22 Ultra is the same 5000mAh battery which has been a standard since the S20 Ultra. However, the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are expected to a 200mAh battery boost, and pack 3900mAh and 4700mAh batteries, respectively.

When it comes to charging, the S23 is said to retain 25W charging and the S22+ and S23 Ultra will also retain 45W fast charging. All these should come with Qi wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare features.

The design is in-line with the renders that surfaced in the past few weeks. We should know more details about the Galaxy S23 series in the coming weeks.
