HONOR 50 with 6.57-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 778G, 108MP camera rolls out in more markets globally

After the announcement in China back in July, the HONOR 50 smartphone was launched in Malaysia last week, today it has launched the smartphone in Europe. The phone runs Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 on top with Google Mobile Services instead of HONOR Mobile Services in the Chinese version.

To remind you, the phone features a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC. It has a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle, 2MP macro and 2MP depth-of-field cameras. There is a 32MP camera on the front.

The HONOR 50 features an ultra-slim bezel on the front and 2.5D polishing glass edges on both upper and lower sides of the display. When the HONOR 50 is tilted against the light at different angles, it glitters and shimmers. The HONOR 50 adopts a dual ring camera design made up of two concentric circles on the back.

Drawing inspiration from the classic ring designs of luxury jewellery brands, the top circle featuring the main camera is polished with the same classic, timeless metal ring on the edge. The Frost Crystal colour, inspired by snow crystals and creates a dreamy diamond-like finish. The HONOR 50 also comes in HONOR Code, an innovative colourway incorporating the “HONOR” logo across the back cover, as well as an Emerald Green and Midnight Black colours.

It packs a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging that can charge from 0 to 70% in 20 minutes and 100% in 45 minutes.
